Bath & Body Works and Victoria’s Secret Class Action
According to the plaintiffs, Bath & Body Works and Victoria’s Secret violated the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACTA) by printing receipts that displayed more than the last five digits of customers’ card numbers. This non-compliance with FACTA put customers’ information at risk.
While both brands deny any wrongdoing, they have agreed to settle the lawsuit.
How to Qualify for the Class Action
You may qualify for the settlement if you made a purchase at Bath & Body Works, Victoria’s Secret, or PINK between May 10, 2021, and August 8, 2021.
The deadline to file a claim through the official settlement website is July 16, 2024, with a final approval hearing set for October 24, 2024. If your claim is approved, you can expect to receive your vouchers in winter or later.
How Much Can You Receive from the Class Action?
If you’ve shopped at both Bath & Body Works and Victoria’s Secret/PINK, you’ll receive two vouchers worth $15 each. If you’ve only shopped at one of the brands, you’ll get a single $15 voucher for that store.
To submit a valid claim, you’ll need to upload a receipt or account statement to the official settlement website. It’s a good idea to opt for emailed receipts when shopping, so you can easily search for them if a settlement opportunity arises.
Don’t Submit a Claim? You Can Still Get $5
If you purchased from Bath & Body Works or Victoria’s Secret/PINK between May 10, 2021, and August 8, 2021, using a My Bath & Body Works Rewards or Victoria’s Secret credit or debit card, you can still receive a $5 voucher without submitting a claim.
The system will automatically locate qualifying customers who used the brand’s cards during that time. Be sure to check your email to redeem the voucher.
However, if you made purchases during this period, submitting a claim is the best way to maximize your vouchers—up to $30 in total!

Sunscreen Class Action Lawsuits:
- Claims that Walmart’s Equate sunscreen was falsely marketed as “reef-friendly.”
